CFForumsExpress - Posting Tools

When you create a new topic or post on an exsisting topic, you should see Attachments at the bottom of the form.
Click the Browse button and slelect the file you want.  The User can upload one file per attachment.

WYSIWYG Editor

The WYSIWYG lets users create and edit formatted content without needing to know HTML.
Most users should already be familiar with word processors such as Microsoft Word,
with which the WYSIWYG shares many of its features.

 


The following are all the buttons and options on the WYSIWYG. We start in the top left corner,
and work our way left to right on each row of buttons.

Source

This button lets you toggle between the standard view and the HTML source code view. Only advanced users with knowledge of HTML should use this option.

Save

Saves the changes you make in the Editor.

Copy

Copies any selected content.

Paste

Pastes content to where the caret is located.

Paste from Clipboard

Paste as Text

Pastes the text only from any copied content.

Paste from Word

This is a special paste feature that takes content copied from Microsoft Word and pastes it into the Editor stripping unnecessary hidden information and formatting that Word creates. This keeps the size of the saved HTML smaller and less prone to problems.

Undo

Steps back and cancels the previous action by the user.

Redo

Steps forward and repeats the action that was undone by the user.

Find

Performs a search in the editor.

Replace

Given a word or string it will find and replace it with a substitute word or string.

Select All

Sets all the content in the editor as selected.

Remove Formatting

Clears all formatting in the selected content in the editor
