To get to the search page, click the Search link at the top of any page.

Search Query

Search for Keywords - You may search for words in the content of topics.
Enter the words to search for into the text field. If you select Search for any terms,
or use query as entered ,then topic containing ANY of the words you entered will be displayed. 

You may use the asterisk(*) wildcard character to broaden your search.
The asterisk will match any number of characters.
So *cheese* will match cheese, cheesewheel, wheelcheese,
or wheelcheesewheel. Likewise cheese*fudge will match cheesefudge, cheeseyfudge, or cheese597fudge.

  

Recent Topics

This gives the user the option of choseing current or past topics. This option is located towards the top of the page,
you can chose your option from the drop down menu. There are 6 options form the drop down menu,
you can chose from all todays posts, all yesterdays posts, posts since my last visit, posts from the last 12 hours,
posts from the last 24 hours and posts form the last 48 hours. 

 

 

 

Active Topics

This option give you a list of the threads posted in the last few hours.
Click on active topics from the panel at the top of the page.
As you can see from below there are no new threads posted in the last hours.

 

 

 

Popular Topics

This option gives the user a list of the most looked at and replied topics.
Below you can see 2 popular topics. The 1st shows the user the topic has had 32 views in the last 7 days,
and the 2nd has had 7 views in the last 7 days. It also shows the popularity of each topic thorugh a colour percentage.

 

 

Members List

This option shows you all the people who have registered to the forum. 
username, status (if they are online or not), last active (when they were last on the foums),
and the users post count (how many times they have posted somthing).  You can view users alphabetically.
